Arcos de la Frontera is where we are located. It is a historic place that was founded at the highest point of a cliff, serving as a natural defense as well as lookout point. Arcos is the natural access to Grazalema mountains and heads the well known White Villages Route. Due to its privileged central location, Arcos is an ideal place from which explore the region.
From Arcos there is a 20 minutes drive to Jerez, a 60 minutes drive to Cádiz and a 75 minutes drive to Sevilla. There are international flights from Jerez and Sevilla airports. Málaga airport is 2 hours away from Arcos.
Hotel El Convento is located in the Heart of the Old Quarter, on a pedestrian street called Maldonado, considered one of the most beautiful streets of the town. Like in most of the old towns in Andalucía, streets are narrow and parking is limited.
We advise you to disconnect the GPS (navigator) once you are in the Old Town.
Once you are in Arcos, follow the signs “Centro Ciudad” (city centre) or “Conjunto Monumental” (old town). Drive up the hill to Plaza del Cabildo. It is a toll parking area and the ticket per hours can be bought in the parking meter located in the Plaza or at the Hotel. Once your car is parked, take Escribanos St. towards Plaza de Boticas by foot and there turn the first into the right, the hotel is at the end of the street.
